Let's see, I joined the Air Force in 1990 and was stationed at Pope AFB, NC until 1994. Just before I left Savannah for basic, I met Jeanette at ASC. Don't hold it against her but, she is from Groves Class of 88. We dated long distance for two years and then married in 1992. Those who remember me from Windsor will think this is funny but, while in the USAF I went to Campbell University (Fighting Camels)in Buies Creek, NC. Jeanette and I planned to move to Atlanta after I got out but, fell in love with the "Triangle" (Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill area). We live in a small town south of Raleigh (Fuquay-Varina, watch how you say that). Jeanette owns her business and I currently am a Detective Sergeant of a Homicide Unit for the Harnett County Sheriff's Office (again, south of Raleigh). Who would have guessed? |
